Announcements - September 3-September 9, 2023

1. 5th September, the memorial of St. Teresa of Kolkata.

8th September, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

2. The Novena in preparation for the Birthday of our Mother Mary is going on. All the children are expected to attend the Novena Mass daily at 7.00 pm. After the Mass, the children will have different activities in the school quadrangle for half an hour. Parishioners are encouraged to bring the love offerings daily, which will be shared with the needy. The love offering list is shared on Parish Pastoral Council group and has been put up on the parish notice board.

3. We wish all Teachers, Happy Teacher’s day on 5th September, 2023 for their noble profession and pray for God’s blessings on you teachers. A special thanks to our Sunday School teachers for your generosity and service to strengthen the faith of our parish children. God bless you too.

4. We celebrate the Nativity feast of our Blessed Virgin Mary on 8th September, 2023 and the girl child day. The feast Mass will be at 7.00 pm. Please come in large number to honour and venerate our Blessed Mother.

5. We wish to thank the Brothers from St. Pius College and the teachers for conducting the Psalm Recitation Competition for the Sunday school children which was a great success.

6. The Senior Citizens of our parish are invited to attend a special Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Mount Mary, Bandra, on Monday 11th September 2023 at 11.30am. A bus has been organised from our church to the Basilica of Mount Mary’s, Bandra and back. Charges are Rs.150/- per person. Senior Citizens are requested to register their names at the Book Stall. A few seats are vacant. Last date for registration is 3rd September, 2023. Booking will be on first come first serve basis.

7. Parish Pastoral Council meeting will be held tomorrow/today after 9.30 am Mass in the conference room. All members are requested to attend.

8. To celebrate the birthday of our dearest Blessed Mother, the Legion of Mary encourages our parish families to recite the rosary every evening during the novena days. This bouquet of Rosaries will be presented to Mother Mary on her birthday, 8th September. Please enrol your names with the Legionaries after Mass or at the bookstall.

9. SVP will be having a collection on 9th and 10th September, 2023. They are grateful and thank you dear parishioners for your generosity.

10. There will be Youth Meeting on 10th September, 2023 after the 9.30 am Mass in the conference room. All youth between the age of 16 to 25 are requested to attend the meeting.

11. Retrouvaille Week-end Workshop for married couples to renew marriages is arranged from 15th – 17th September, 2023 at Atma Darshan Centre. All couples are invited. For details kindly look up the notice board.

12. The Parish fathers thank you for last Sunday’s collection which amounted to Rs.28,458/-
