THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. 27th January is the memorial of Saints Timothy and Titus.

28th January is the memorial of St.Thomas Aquinas.

31st January is the memorial of St. John Bosco.

2. 26th January, we celebrate the Republic Day of our Country. There will be flag hoisting at 7.30 am on the school ground. Kindly pray for peace and harmony among the citizens of our Country.

3. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has organized a talk on Constitutional Democracy in India on 26th January 2026 by Fr. Frazer Mascarenhas from 10.00 am to 12.30 pm In the Church. All are invited.

4. Kindly place your E-waste in the designated bin on the way to the cemetery. Please do not drop any other waste in the recycling bin.

5. St. Thomas High School- Primary Section, Goregaon East, is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated teachers for the academic year 2026-2027. Interested candidates who have completed their D.Ed and are qualified for the MAHA-TET can drop in their resume at the school office addressed to the Manager.

6. Legion of Mary has organized a prayer service for students appearing for board exams and other exams on the 1st February, after the 9.30 am mass. Requesting all students to attend. 

7. There will be a Mass for the sick and homebound organized by the Legion of Mary on 15th February at 4 pm in the Church. Requesting the family members to kindly arrange to bring the sick and homebound for this Mass and seek special blessings.

8. The World Marriage Day will be celebrated on Saturday, 14th February 2026. All married couples are invited for a Special Eucharistic Celebration at the 7.00 pm Mass to renew their Marriage vows followed by a get-together in the School Quadrangle. Kindly register with the members of the Parish Family Cell in the porch. Registration charges Rs. 250/- per couple.

9. The Senior Citizens Association of our parish has organised a get-together for all Senior Citizens on Sunday, 15th February 2026 after the 9.30 am mass in the Quadrangle. For registration, kindly contact the Association member in the porch. Charges Rs.200/- per person.

10. Parish Pastoral Council meeting is on Sunday, 1 st February. All members are requested to attend.

11. Pauline Sisters, Bandra, are offering a two-month course in Music Production, Sound Recording and Mixing, from January 26 to April 17. Classes will be held from 6.00 to 8.00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Further details are available on the notice board.

12. The Singles Ministry is organising a Meet to assist the youth to meet and connect, with the intention to guide, encourage and finally join them in Matrimony. The Meet is on 15 th February, 2026 at Mumbai. The registration is online only, in advance. For details, please refer the notice board.

13. Mass intentions for the month of March 2026 will be taken from Friday 30th 2026 onwards.
