THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD

1. Today we celebrate the feast of the Epiphany of our Lord Jesus Christ. 8 th

January, the feast of the Baptism of the Lord. With this feast we come to the end

of the Christmas season.

2. Parish Pastoral Council meeting is on Sunday, 14 th January 2024 after 9.30 am

Mass Members are requested to attend.

3. Borivali Deanery Small Christian Community Rally will be held on tomorrow/

today from 5.30 pm onwards on our School ground. All those Coordinators and

Animators who have given their names please attend. There are 15 parishes in

our Deanery who are attending and we expect a crowd of 1200. Bishop Barthol

Barretto will be the Chief Guest. Kindly pray for the success of the Deanery

Rally..

4. Sunday school reopens from tomorrow/ today. Parents please send your

children regularly for Sunday school and mass.

5. The Diocesan Vocations Service Centre is organizing a 2 days 2 nights stay at

St Pius X Archdiocesan Seminary, from 19 th January (Friday) to 21 st January

(Sunday). This program is open for young men discerning for the priesthood and

are currently in their final year in senior college or are working. For more details

kindly refer to Poster on the notice board.

6. The Retrouvaille program at Atma Darshan Centre, Mahakali Caves Road,

Andheri East from Friday 19 th January to 21 st January 2024 for married couples

who are facing challenges or separated can attend. For detail refer to the notice

board

7. St. Blaise Church, Amboli, is organising an event for Roman Catholics, looking

for a life partner in marriage known as ‘WHEN TWO HEARTS MEET’, on

Sunday , 21 st January ,2024 from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm in the St. Blaise High

school hall for age group from 25 to 40. For more details please see the notice

board.

8. Novena in honour of Venerable Fr Agnelo will begin from 12 th January to 20 th

January 2024 and the feast is on 21 st January 2024 at Fr Agnel Ashram Bandra

West. For details please see the notice board.

9. We are happy to announce our Church Christmas Star has bagged 2 nd prize in

the Deanery. We congratulate our Youth who have worked hard and prepared it

. May God bless our youth and PYAT.

10. Kindly drop the Centre for Social Action, advent campaign envelopes in the

CWF box.
