TWENTY FIRST SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

1. 24th August is the feast of St. Bartholomew, the Apostle.

27th August is the memorial of St. Monica.

28th August is the memorial of St Augustine.

29th August is the memorial of the Passion of St john the Baptist.

2. Today the Church celebrates Justice Sunday.

3. Couples who have enlisted for the talk organized by the Family Cell are requested to be in Church after the 9.30 am Mass.

4. Requesting the parishioners to drop the Prison Ministry Envelopes in the box placed in the church on or before Sunday 30th August 2026.

5. Steering Committee meeting for SCC Coordinators and Animators is on Sunday 30th August in the school AV room from 10.45 am onwards. Coordinators, please give the count of your Animators attending to Derick Fernandes by Wednesday 26th August 2026.

6. Novena in honour of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will begin on Sunday 30th August. There will be an offertory of various food items on each day offered by the families. The list of the novena and the theme is posted on the Notice board. The liturgy will be conducted by the Sunday School Children. Please come and attend in large numbers.

7. Coordinators, please give the names of the deserving families from your Unit to Donald D’souza, Manuel Sampey of SVP to distribute offertory ration on 6th September 2026. You may take their contact number from Church office.

8. The Senior Citizens of our Parish are invited to attend a special Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Mount Mary Bandra on Monday 14th September 2026 at 10.00 am. A bus has been organized from our Church at 8.00 am sharp to the Basilica of Mount Mary Bandra and back. Charges Rs.200 per person. Senior Citizens are requested to register with the members of the Senior Citizens Association. Last date for registration is 6th September 2026.

9. Pre-Baptism Catechesis for couples who are expecting their first child is on Saturday, 12th September from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm. Kindly register your names in the parish office by 6th September 2026.

10. Mass intentions for October will begin from the 28th of August onwards.
