NINETEENTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

1. 10th August is the memorial of St Lawrence

11th August is the memorial of St. Clare.

14th August memorial of St. Maximillian Kolbe.

2. Prison Ministry will be celebrated on Sunday 16th August.

3. Today's collection will be sent to the Archbishop's House for the upkeep of the Clergy Home. Kindly be generous.

4. Today there will be a second collection for SVP; kindly be generous.

5. The Lector Team will have a meeting tomorrow/today after 9.30 am Mass in the Church. Members are requested to attend.

6. The Commissioning of the Parish Pastoral Council is on Sunday 16th August at 8.15 am. Mass. Members, please attend the Mass.

7. The Solemn Feast of the Assumption of our Blessed Mother and our Country’s Independence Day will be celebrated on 15th August. The flag hoisting will be at 7.15 am in the School, and the Mass is at 8.30 am. It is a day of obligation. The evening Mass at 7.00 pm will be in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Faithful are requested to attend Saturday and Sunday Masses to fulfil the obligation.

8. The Parish Family Cell invites married couples to a talk by Fr. Ashwin Castellino, Director of Snehalaya Family Service Centre, on the topic, Communicate Better, Resolve Smarter, on Sunday 23rd August 2026 from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. Requesting married couples to register with the members of the Parish Family Cell; charges Rs.50 per couple.

9. The youth of our parish will be going on a Trek to Garbett Plateau, Karjat on 15th August. Registration charges Rs.  250/- per head. For more details, kindly contact Ryan Fernandes, Anthony Chettiar or Myron Rasquinha. There will be a youth meeting Tomorrow/today after the 9.30 am Mass. Requesting all youth to attend the same.
