FOURTH SUNDAY IN LENT

1. 19th March the feast of St. Joseph the Spouse of Mother Mary.

2. On Fridays the Way of the Cross in Tamil at 5.00 pm followed by Mass in Tamil. Way of the Cross in Marathi at 6.15 pm.

3. Missions in English are on Friday 20th March and on Saturday 21st March after the 7.00 pm Mass, on Sunday 22nd March after the 6.00 pm Mass preached by Fr. Reuben Tellis. Kindly take part in the missions in large numbers.

4. A Lenten Recollection and training programme will be held for all the Choir & Parish Liturgy Team members, Lectors, Cantors and Eucharistic Ministers tomorrow / today from 10.30 am to 11.30 am in the Church conducted by Fr. Renold D’souza. Requesting all members to attend.

5. A Bus Pilgrimage is organised to Karjat Don Bosco on the 19th March, 2026 at 6.45a.m. Charges are Rs.300/- per head. Kindly register at the Church bookstall. 15TH March is the day for the registration. School going children are not allowed to register for the same. Requesting all those who have registered to assemble by 6.30am on the 19th of March bear the grotto in front of the school. Kindly carry the Orange stamped coupon that is given to you

6. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has organised a Blood Donation Camp on Sunday, 22nd March 2026 from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon in the School Classroom. All those aged between 18 to 65 years are eligible to volunteer for Blood Donation. Kindly donate blood for a good cause.

7. Those members who are standing for PPC election from the Unit/ Community are requested to collect the nomination form from the parish office and submit duly filled by 23rd March 2026 .The rules and regulations are posted on the notice board.

8. On Saturday 21st March 5 deacons will be ordained for Bombay at St. Pius Seminary. Deacon Viyar who did his ministry in our parish in 2024 has invited our parishioners. His invite is posted on the Notice board. Kindly pray for them.

9. A word of appreciation to the Catechists, Ms. Alina, Ms. Priti and Ms. Lilia on completion of training and receiving the Certificate. Thank you for your commitment.

10. Lenten Confession are on Monday 16th March and Tuesday 17th March from 5.00.pm to 8.00 pm. Kindly avail the Sacrament.

11. Joseph Cardijn Technical institute offers a month long technical trade training especially for those who have appeared for their SSC / HSC exam and also for college going students who are on vacation to know the basic of welding/ fabrication, electrical car servicing and carpentry which will give them an orientation into the technical field. This course is open to all faiths. For more details please see the Notice board.

12. Dimension Global Christian Chambers of Commerce has organised a Women’s Day celebration launch of its Coffee Table Book & awards felicitation on Saturday, 21st March 2026. Business Corporate professionals and youngsters are invited. For details see the Notice board.

13. St Pius Seminary, Goregaon East needs a receptionist, interested person may contact Fr. Gilbert De-Lima or Fr. Godwin Fernandes at the Seminary.
