THE BAPTISM OF THE LORD

1. 14th January the memorial of St. Devasahayam Pillai, the first Indian Lay saint.

16th January the memorial of St Joseph Vaz.

2. Sunday 18th January 2026, we celebrated the Laity Sunday and Vocation Sunday.

3. Tomorrow/today, Steering Committee training for the Core Group members after the 9.30 am Mass in the School AV room. Requesting those who have enlisted to assemble in the AV room.

4. Today, there will be a second collection for SVP. Kindly be generous.

5. The Care for Creation Team has organized an E-waste Collection Drive during the month of January. The recycling bin is placed near the cemetery entrance gate. Kindly place your E-waste waste in the designated bin. Please do not drop any other waste in the recycling bin.

6. Graves to be opened of the year 2022 is on the notice board family members are requested to see the notice board. If you need any clarification, please visit the Parish office.

7. We wish to thank Fr. Joe, Br Vinesh and the teachers for conducting games and New year party for children. Also wish to thank care for creation team for the Vision Mission banner and the plan. Wish you success for the project.

8. 13 children of our parish are receiving the Holy Eucharist for the first time on Sunday 18th January 2026 at 9.30 am Mass. Kindly keep them in your prayers.

9. Fr. Agnel Ashram Bandra is having novenas from 12 to 20 January and the feast on 21st January 2026. All are invited.

10. Since the polling for BMC corporator is on Thursday 15th January 2026, all those who are 18 years and above are requested to cast their vote without fail.

11. St. Thomas High school- Primary Section, Goregaon East, is looking for experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated teachers for the academic year 2026-2027. Interested candidates who have completed their D.Ed and qualified the MAHA-TET or MAHA CTET Examination, Paper 1, can drop in their resume at the school office addressed to the Manager, by 28 \th January 2026.

12. There will be youth meeting tomorrow/ today, 11th January after the 9.30 am Mass in the conference room. Requesting all the youth of our parish to attend the same.

13. Community Welfare Fund for December 2025 is Rs.1,23,500/- from which 17,962/- is given for medical.

14. Those who are getting married, please ensure your entries are entered in the Baptism certificate in order to avoid any inconvenience that takes place at the time of your marriage.
