SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT

1. 8th December is the Solemnity Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

13th December is the memorial of St. Lucy.

2. We wish to thank those faithfully present for the cleaning of the Church last Sunday. God bless you for your dedicated service.

3. There will be Pre Pre-Baptism class on Saturday, 13th December from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm. Those couples who are on the family way for the first time, and the godparents are requested to attend the class in the conference room. Kindly register your names in the parish office by 8th December 2025.

4. Parish Pastoral Council meeting tomorrow/today after 9.30am Mass.

5. Advent Campaign against Hunger and Disease envelopes will be distributed by the Core Group members to all families. Kindly be generous. You may drop the envelope in any of the Church boxes. The official from Archbishop John Rodrigues is posted on the notice board.

6. We will be having a Christmas Bazaar in the Church Colony on Sunday 14th December 2025 from 8.00am onwards. Cells and associations are requested to contact Mr. Ashwin Rodrigues to book the stalls. Please patronize the stalls.

7. Daughters of the Heart of Mary Sisters from Thalassery will sell Warli Artwork made by Tribals on 13th and 14th December 2025, kindly patronize.

8. There will be One one-day Retreat in Tamil on 14th December 2025 from 11.00am to 5.00pm conducted by Fr. William Arokiaraj.

9. Confession to prepare for Christmas will be on 15th and 16th December from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

10. Mukti Sagar Prabodhan Kendra has organized Marriage preparation course for the year 2026. The details are posted on the notice board.

11. The Archdiocese of Bombay will be closing the Jubilee Year 2025 with a Festival of Families organized by the Snehalaya Family Service Centre on Sunday, 28th December 2025 the Feast of the Holy Family, at Our Lady of Velankanni Shrine, Bhate Bunder Uttan with Mass at 10.00am followed by Cultural Activities. Requesting Families from our parish to register with the members of the Parish Family Cell, latest by 14th December 2025. Breakfast, Tea and Lunch will be served. A bus will be organized from our Parish. Charges Rs 100 per head. The Family Cell members will be available in the porch.

12. Community Welfare Fund for November was Rs. 1,52,400/-. The amount given towards medical aid is Rs.1,64,141/-, and for education aid is Rs.90,000 /-
