THIRD SUNDAY IN LENT


1. Tomorrow / today is observed as International Women’s Day. We appreciate your commitment and service in the parish and in the society. May God bless you.


2. On Fridays the Way of the Cross in Tamil at 5.00 pm followed by Mass in Tamil. Way of the Cross in Marathi at 6.15 pm. Mass in English at 7.00 pm followed by the Way of the Cross. The Way of the Cross on 13th March will be conducted by Family Cell and Senior Citizen group.


3. Sunday School Annual Closing Day and Faith Exhibition on tomorrow / today in the school quadrangle after the 8.15 am and 9.30 am Masses. All parishioners are requested to visit the exhibition and encourage our children.


4. Today there will be a second collection for SVP, kindly be generous.


5. The missions in Marathi on Saturday 14th March after 7.00 pm Mass, and on Sunday 15th March after the 6.00 pm Mass preached by Fr. Melborn Poshapir. Missions in English are on Friday 20th March and on Saturday 21st March after the 7.00 pm Mass, on Sunday 22nd March after the 6.00 pm Mass preached by Fr. Reuben Tellis . Kindly take part in the missions in large numbers.


6. The Legion of Mary of our parish is organizing their 43rd Annual Lenten Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica on 14th March 2026, beginning at 10.00 pm from our Church. This pilgrimage will conclude with Holy Eucharist celebrated by Bishop Agnelo Gracias on 15th March, at 5.30 am at Mount Mary Basilica. All are invited. There will be a volunteer’s meeting tomorrow / today, 8th March at 7.00 pm in the school basement. We are in need of more male volunteers, those interested are requested to attend this meeting. Those who wish to sponsor or donate in cash or in kind, kindly contact the parish office or Cassina Netto.


7. A Lenten Recollection and training programme will be held for all the Choir & Parish Liturgy Team members, Lectors, Cantors and Eucharistic Ministers on Sunday 15th March, 2026 from 10.30 am to 11.30 am in the Church conducted by Fr. Renold D’souza. Requesting all members to attend.


8. A Bus Pilgrimage is organised to Karjat Don Bosco on the 19th March, 2026 at 7.00 a.m. Charges are Rs.300/- per head. Kindly register at the Church bookstall. School going children are not allowed to register for the same.


9. The Pre Baptism Course will be on Saturday 14th March from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm in the Conference room. The couples who are expecting their first child are requested to register your names in the parish office.


10. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has organised a Blood Donation Camp on Sunday, 22nd March 2026 from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon in the School Classroom. All those aged between 18 to 65 years are eligible to volunteer for Blood Donation.


11. There will be a 3-day Open Convention in Church of St. Joseph the Worker, Bandra East from 13th to 15th March 2026, 15th March there will be spiritual program “Noise to Grace” for all the youth from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm. All parishioners and youth are encouraged to participate.


12. The Archdiocese office for Environment is organising a Lenten Recollection on 22nd March from 9.00.am to 1.00 pm including the Eucharist. For details see the notice board.


13. The new PPC term of the Parish Pastoral Council will begin in June 2026. Coordinators eligible for the next term and wishing to continue, as well as others interested in taking on the community coordinator position in their respective communities, are requested to contact the parish office for re- election OR nomination forms. The last day to submit the forms is March 23rd 2026. The rules and regulations for the PPC election is posted on the notice board.


14. The youth of our parish will have its monthly meeting tomorrow/today 8th March after the 9.30 am mass. Requesting all the youth to attend the same in the conference room.


15. The Borivali Deanery is conducting the Way of the cross for the youth at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Orlem on 12th March 7.30pm, followed by Taize Prayer Service. All Youth are invited.


16. The Care for Creation Team, thank you, for your contribution to the e-waste drive. A total of 57.6 kg of e-waste has been collected and sent for recycling the certificate for the same is put up on the notice board. Please continue to place your e-waste in the designated bin located near the cemetery


17. The Parish fathers thank you for the following collections
