TWENTIETH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
1. Today we celebrate Justice Sunday.
2. 21st August the feast of St. Pius X, the Patron of Goregaon Seminary. Please keep the seminarians and the fathers of the Seminary in your prayers.
22nd August the feast of the Queenship of Mother Mary.
24th August the feast of St. Bartholomew, the Apostle.
3. Tomorrow / Today 5th and 6th Std. Sunday School children will be going for Faith Formation to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Goregaon West. Please keep them in your prayers.
4. The novenas in honour of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will begin from 30th August, 2023 . For details please refer the notice board.
5. We wish to thank the Family cell co-ordinators and Brother Anand for conducting a one day Recollection which was very fruitful.
6. The Sunday School Children will have PSALM RECITATION COMPETITION on Sunday, 27th August, 2023 from 8.15 am to 9.15 am in the school basement. Parents can attend the competition and cheer our children.
7. The Senior Citizens of our Parish are invited to attend a special Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Mount Mary, Bandra, on Monday 11th September, 2023 at 11.30am. A bus has been organised from our Church to the Basilica of Mount Mary Bandra and back. Charges are Rs.150/- per person. Senior Citizens are requested to register their names at the Book Stall or with your community animators. Last date for registration is 3rd September, 2023.
8. We wish to thank Bombay Catholic Sabha for conducting Best out of Waste activity for Sunday School Children and also wish to thank children for participation and enthusiasm. God bless you dear children.
9. The Fathers wish to thank the Parish Pastoral Council for arranging a get together and lunch.
10. A word of thanks to the Décor Committee for beautifying the Altar on the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and Independence day.
