FIRST SUNDAY IN LENT

1. On Fridays, The Way of the Cross is in Tamil at 5.00 pm, followed by Mass in Tamil. Way of the Cross in Marathi at 6.15 pm. Mass in English is at 7.00 pm followed by The Way of the Cross. The Way of the Cross on 27th February will be conducted by the Eucharistic Ministers and Hope and Life members.

2. Tomorrow/today, 14 candidates will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation administered by Bp. Dominic Savio Fernandes at 9.30. am Mass. Kindly keep them in your prayers.

3. We wish to thank Family Cell members, Senior Citizen Association, Fr. Joe Gonsalves and Catechist teachers of Std VII & VIII for all your service in organizing the events in the parish. God bless you.

4. Requesting parishioners not to place worn-out, broken religious pictures, frames, statues, Rosaries, etc. in the graveyard / Church premises. Thank you

5. Snehalaya Marriage Preparation Course details for 2026 are posted on the notice board.

6. The Missions in Tamil are on Sunday, 1st March from 11.00 am to 4.30 pm, Missions in Marathi on Saturday, 14th March after 7.00 pm Mass, and Sunday, 15th March after the 6.00 pm mass, Missions in English on Friday, 20th March and on Saturday, 21st March after the 7.00 pm Mass, on Sunday, 22nd March after the 6.00 pm Mass. Kindly take part in the Missions in Large Numbers.

7. Legion of Mary is organizing its 43rd Annual Lenten walking pilgrimage on the 14th of March to Mount Mary Basilica. The pilgrimage will begin from St. Thomas church at 10 pm and ends at 5.30 am at Mount Mary with mass. All are invited to join. Those who wish to donate or sponsor in cash kindly contact the Church office. We are in need of male volunteers. The first volunteers meeting will be on the 1st of March at 7 pm in the school basement.

8. The Lenten Way of the Cross at Karjat will be on Tuesday, 19th March. Details will be announced later.

9. Parish Pastoral Council meeting on 1st March 2026 after the 9.30 am Mass.

10. The 3-year term of the Parish Pastoral Council will end in May 2026. Details regarding the election of the New PPC members will be announced shortly.

11. Mass booking for April 2026 will be taken from 27th February onwards.
