TWENTY FIFTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
1. 23rd September the memorial of St. Pius (Padre Pio).
27th September the memorial of St. Vincent de Paul.
Sunday 29th September World Day of Migrants.
2. A Marian Pilgrimage has been organized for the Sunday school children from Std IV to the Confirmation class, on Wednesday, 2nd October 2024. The pilgrimage consists of visits to five Marian Churches in the Borivali deanery. The Pilgrimage will begin at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Goregaon West and will end at Our Lady of the Sea Church Madh Island. Children who would like to join the pilgrimage must give their names to the class teacher by Sunday 29th September 2024.
3. The Parish is celebrating the Ruby Jubilee (40 years) of the Small Christian Communities (S.C.C). To mark the occasion, we are organizing a musical titled “The Ruby Quest”. Please pray for the success of The Ruby Quest show. Please be generous to get involved to make the program successful.
4. The youth of our parish will be going for an overnight picnic cum trek to Karjat Don Bosco, on 11th and 12th October 2024. Age group 16 to 25 only. Charges Rs. 300/-. To register for the same contact the youth available near the book stall after mass.
5. Our parish St. Vincent de Paul Conference is celebrating its patron feast on Sunday 29th September 2024 at 8.15 a.m. Mass, we thank the conference for their faithful service to the poor and assure prayers for their good health and happiness.
6. On the occasion of the Feast of St Vincent de Paul, the SVP is having lunch for the underprivileged of our Parish on 29th September 2024, in the school basement. Anyone wishing to contribute towards the lunch can contact the SVP members or any of the parish fathers.
7. The Stop Gaps Cultural Academy presents the Children’s Choir festival on 28th September 2024 at St. Andrews Auditorium at 6.30 pm. All are invited.
