SECOND SUNDAY OF LENT
1. 19th March the feast of St. Joseph the spouse of Mother Mary.
2. The Way of the Cross in English on Friday 21st March will be conducted by Parish Liturgy Team, Choir and Lectors.
3. The Legion of Mary of our parish is organizing their 42nd Annual Lenten Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Basilica on 29th March 2025 beginning at 10.00 pm from our Church. This pilgrimage will conclude with Holy Eucharist celebrated by Bp. Allwyn D’silva on 30th March, at 5.30 am at Mount Mary Basilica. All are invited. There will be a volunteer meeting on 16th March at 7.pm in the school basement. We request our parishioners to come forward and help in the ushering and other jobs. Those who wish to sponsor or donate in cash or kind, kindly contact Fr. Nelson or Cassina Netto.
4. Parish Lenten Pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima Shrine and Our Lady of Velankanni Shrine Uttan is organized on Sunday, 23rd March. The bus will leave at 7.00 am, the charges are Rs. 300/- each, lunch and snacks will be provided. Please give your names at the Book Stall or to Mr. Francis Barboza. The last day to give your names is 19th March 2025.
5. Ten Deacons will be ordained Priest on Saturday 29th March 2025 at 6.00 pm at St. Pius seminary. Deacon Anand Patil is one among them. Please pray for them. Parishioners are invited to attend the ordination service.
6. There will be Gospel musical titled The Living Hope on Sunday 23rd March after 6.00pm Mass in the Church. This presentation is by Don Bosco group. All are invited to come and experience the Passion of the Lord.
7. The English Missions are from 28th March to 30th March after the evening Mass, preached by Fr. Sunil Monis, Carmelite. There will be Missions in Konkani on Sunday 30th March from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm. Please come in large number and take part in the Missions.
8. We wish to thank all those who participated in Cells and Associations Orientation program on Sunday 9th March. A special thanks to Mr. Elias Fernandes, Mr. Ashwin Rodricks and Mr. Caitan Lobo for making the arrangements.
9. We wish to congratulate Lily, Gia and Elroy on the completion of basic inter-religious dialogue course. Simran and Paul on Completion of Basic Liturgy course and Alisha on completion of Catechetical training course. Thank you for your service to the Church. God bless you
