TWENTY THIRD SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
1. On 8th September, we celebrate the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Girl Child Day. The feast Mass will be at 7.00 pm, celebrated by Fr. John Barretto. Please come in large numbers.
2. The Legion of Mary will continue the chain of rosaries, and the same will be offered as a bouquet of rosaries to Mother Mary on her Birthday.
3. The Senior Citizens of our Parish are invited to attend a special Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Mount Mary, Bandra, at 10.30 am on Monday, 14th September 2026. A bus has been organised from our Church at 8.00 am sharp to the Basilica of Mount Mary and back. Charges Rs. 200 per person. Senior Citizens are requested to register with the members of the Senior Citizens Association. Last date for registration is 6th September 2026.
4. Pre-Baptism Catechesis for couples who have registered on Saturday, 12th September, from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm. in the conference room. Kindly register your names in the parish office by 7th September 2026.
5. Parish Pastoral Council meeting tomorrow/today from 10.45 am in the Conference room.
6. Youth meeting on Sunday, 13th September at 10.30 am in the Conference room.
7. Requesting the parishioners to drop the Prison Ministry Envelopes in the box placed in the church.
8. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will be distributing the offertory ration to the needy families tomorrow/today after the 9.30 am Mass behind the conference room. Those who have given their names are requested to come and collect the ration.
9. We wish to thank the Community Coordinators and the Animators who attended the Steering Committee meeting on 30th September. A special thanks to Derick Fernandes for conducting the meeting gracefully. May God bless you all.
10. Community Welfare Fund for August is Rs.2,07,001/-, Rs.47,034 /- was given for medical aid, Rs. 48,000/- was given for educational aid
