TWENTY SECOND SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

1. 5th September is the memorial of St. Mother Teresa.

8th September is the memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the day of the girl child.

2. The Holy Father's intention for September is to have a cordial relationship with all of God's creation.

3. During the week's days the novena to the nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be at 7.00 pm and on Sunday at 9.30 am Mass. The Themes for the Mass and the liturgy conducted by the Sunday School and the daily offertory by the units are posted on the notice board. Please don’t bring plastic carry bags for the offertory. We are promoting No Plastic in the Church vicinity

4. The Legion of Mary will have the chain of the Rosary conducted during the Nativity Novena days. Requesting all to join by praying the Rosary at home during the Novena days. The same will be offered as a Birthday Gift to Mother Mary on the Feast Day, 8th September. Legionaries will be available to take your registration during the novena days

5. There will be a holy half hour adoration on Friday 5 5th September at 6.30pm, conducted by the Legion of Mary.

6. Marriage Encounter live- in weekend is from 6th to 7th September 2025 at Canossa Convent, Andheri East. For details, please see the notice board.

7. The Bombay Catholic Sabha will be announcing the Awards for Academic Excellence for those having passed 10th Std all Boards (90% and above only) and 12th Std Arts, Science and Commerce (80% and above only) The application forms are available at the Parish Bookstall and have to be returned latest by 14th September 25 along with a copy of the self-attested mark sheet.

8. The Senior Citizens of our Parish are invited to attend a special Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Mount Mary Bandra on Monday, 15th September 2025 at 10.30am. A bus has been organized from our Church at 8.00 am sharp to the Basilica of Mount Mary Bandra and back. Charges Rs. 200 per person. Senior Citizens are requested to register at the Book Stall. Last date for registration is 7th September

9. We wish to thank the following: Prayer Group for conducting Gospel Music, Youth office bearers and Animators for organizing Youth trek, and Ginelle Gracias, who was conducting English choir, has now shifted abroad. May God bless one and all.
