TWENTY FIRST SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

1. 27th August is the memorial of St. Monica.

28th August is the memorial of St. Augustine.

29th August is the memorial of the Passion of St. John the Baptist.

2. Today, we celebrate Justice Sunday. The theme is ‘A call for Climate Justice and the Common Home’.

3. From 30th August, the novena of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will begin, the novena Masses will be at 7.00pm. Please come in large numbers and participate. The themes and the details of the daily offertory by the Units are posted on the notice board. Please do not bring plastic carry bags for the offertory as we are focusing on NO PLASTIC. Kindly contact your Unit Coordinator and Animator for any clarification.

4. We wish to thank the Bombay Catholic Sabha for organizing a medical camp for Blood Sugar check and Bone Mineral Density measurement, and the response of 91 parishioners taking part. May the Lord bless your good work.

5. The Legion of Mary will have the chain of the Rosary conducted during the Nativity Novena days. Requesting all to join this chain of Rosary daily by praying the Rosary at home specially during the Novena days. The same will be offered as a Birthday Gift to Mother Mary on the Feast Day, 8th September. Legionaries will be available to take your registration for the same during the novena days. Kindly join this Chain of rosary.

6. The next weekend Examiner issue, dated 30th August, is a special color issue which will focus on the environment and the beginning of the season of creation 2025. This examiner issue will be free for Subscribers, but the sale copies will be priced at Rs. 50/-. We have limited copies available. Interested parishioners can buy a copy at the rate of Rs. 50/- from the book stall. 

7. The Prayer Group is having Gospel Music from 10.30 am to 11.30 am. tomorrow/today. All are invited.

8. The discipleship program conducted by CCR will start from 14th September in the school basement. For details, contact Anagha D’Souza.

9. Atma Darshan Andheri East is having retreats; the details are on the notice board.

10. Marriage Encounter live-in weekend is from 6th to 7th September 2025 at Canossa Convent, Andheri East. For details, please see the notice Board.

11. Masses for October 2025 will be taken from the 29th of August onwards.
