The Agera Feast Celebration held on Sunday, October 5th, was a beautiful expression of thanksgiving, faith, and cultural pride. Organized by the Goregaon East Indian Association, the event brought together parishioners and families in a joyful spirit of unity and gratitude.
The morning began with a grand procession from St. Thomas Ground, led by our beloved Fathers on the Rekla, accompanied by the lively tunes of the East Indian Band. Dressed in traditional El Lugra attire, parishioners proudly displayed the rich heritage of the East Indian community as they walked together in song, prayer, and joy.
Following the 8:15 AM Mass, the celebrations continued in the church colony, where the East Indian Band filled the air with festive music. Everyone joined in the dancing and camaraderie, while snacks were served to all, adding to the warmth and togetherness of the occasion. The event concluded with the much-awaited Raffle Draw, which brought laughter and excitement to both young and old.
Thanks to the heartfelt efforts of the Goregaon East Indian Association, the Agera Feast 2025 was a memorable success — a morning filled with music, faith, and the joy of community. It reminded us once again to give thanks for the blessings of the harvest and the bonds that unite us as one family in Christ.
