EIGHT SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

1. The Sunday school closing will take place tomorrow /today. The Sunday school children have organized a faith exhibition in the school basement after the 8.15 am and 9.30 am Mass. All parishioners are requested to visit the exhibition and encourage our children.

2. The Season of Lent will begin on Ash Wednesday, 5th March. It is a day of fast and abstinence. The Ashes will be blessed at 6.45 am Mass and imposed on the forehead of the faithful during each Mass. The Mass timing are: 6.45 am English, 7.45 am in Tamil, 6.00.pm. in Marathi and 7.00 pm in English.

3. The season of Lent is a time of prayers, penance and abstinence. As Pilgrims of Hope during this Jubilee year you are invited to be charitable and spend time in prayer.

4. On 7th March, the first Friday the Way of the Cross and Mass schedule will be as follows: 5.00 pm Way of the Cross in Tamil, 5.30 pm Mass in Tamil, 6.15 pm Way of the Cross in Marathi, 7.00 pm Mass in English, 7.30 pm Way of the Cross in English conducted by The Family Cell and Bombay Catholic Sabha.

5. The Way of the Cross on Friday schedule in English is posted on the notice board. The Cells and Associations are requested to make note of the date allotted and conduct the Way of the Cross on that day.

6. We wish to thank Bombay Catholic Sabha for organizing Blood donation drive and thank the donors for your generosity. May the Lord bless you.

7. The order of the Jubilee Cross circulation in the communities will be announced soon. All Families are requested to be open to receive the Jubilee Cross for one day and to spend time in prayer which will bring peace, unity and blessing to you. Like our Parish the Jubilee Cross is circulated in all the parishes of our Archdiocese.

8. Our parish Youth will be launching Yuva Instagram tomorrow /today at 9.30. am Mass. Requesting all youth to contribute and to check the update of the same from now on.

9. The youth will have a meeting on Sunday 9th March, after the 9.30 am Mass.

10. On Sunday 9th March there will be an orientation for heads and Assistants from 10.30 am to 12.15 noon in the school AV room conducted by Fr. Felix D’Souza. All the members are requested to attend. Kindly contact Mr. Elias Fernandes and give the names on or before 6th March 2025.

11. St. Andrews College of Hotel Management announces admission for the Certificate course in Hotel Management & Catering Technology a One Year course in hospitality training and B.Sc (Hospitality Studies) a three-Year Degree course graduating students into a comprehensive career in the Hotel Industry. Candidates ought to have passed the HSC in any stream. For details, please see the notice
