FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILY
1. Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph will be celebrated today . We pray that
our Parish families may continue to receive blessings and grace through the
prayers of the Holy Family.
2. New Year vigil Mass tomorrow / today at 11.00 pm and the Holy Hour at 10.00.
pm in the Church. We thank God Almighty for all the blessings received on the
parishioners and on our parish. Please note that there will be no 6.00 pm Mass
tomorrow / today.
3. On New Year day Mass in Tamil at 7.00 am and Mass in English at 9.00 am
.There will be no evening Mass. The Masses are dedicated to Mary the Mother
of God.
4. There will be holy half an hour on 5 th January 2024 at 6.30 pm conducted by
Legion of Mary.
5. There will be no Sunday school tomorrow / today. Sunday school will reopen on
7th January, 2024
6. Parish Pastoral Council meeting is on Sunday, 14th January 2024. Members are
requested to attend.
7. Parish Family Day – ‘FAM JAM ‘ will be celebrated on Saturday 6th January 2024
from 6.30 pm onwards. Please collect the coupons from your Coordinators or
Animators. An evening of fun, floric and food. There will be games entertainment
and dinner. The theme for FAM JAM – families to come dressed in similar color
or pattern like stripes, dots, Christmas colours, shimmer etc. Best coordinated
family stands a chance to win a prize. It’s a time to come together and meet one
another. Please come in large numbers. Kindly pray for the success of the
Family Day
8. Please note that the evening Mass on Saturday 6th January 2024 is preponed to
6.00 pm due to Parish Family day.
9. Borivali Deanery Small Christian Community Rally will be held on Sunday 7th
January 2024 from 5.30 pm onwards on our School ground. All those
Coordinators and Animators who have given their names please attend. There
are 15 parishes in our Deanery who are attending and we expect a crowd of
1200. Bishop Barthol Barretto will be the Chief Guest. Kindly pray for peace and
success of the Deanery Rally.
10. Kindly note that the parish office will remain closed on 1st January, 2024 on
account of New Year. Mass booking for the month of February, 2024 will be
taken on 2nd January, 2024 during the parish office hours.
