TWENTY SECOND SUNDAY OF THE YEAR
1. 3rd September is the memorial of St. Gregory the Great.
5th September is the memorial of St. Mother Teresa.
2. Holy Father's intention for September is Care for water. Let us use water carefully
3. Tomorrow/today we have a Steering Committee meeting for SCC Coordinators and Animators from 10.45 am onwards. Requesting Coordinators and Animators to gather in the School AV room.
4. Requesting the parishioners to drop the Prison Ministry Envelopes in the box placed in the church.
5. Novena in honour of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will begin from tomorrow/today. The list of the novena and the theme is posted on the Notice board. The liturgy will be conducted by the Sunday School Children. There will be preachers from the Seminary. Please come and attend in large numbers.
6. The Legion of Mary will begin the chain of rosary from the 30th of August, requesting all families to pray the rosary daily during the novena days, and the same will be offered as a bouquet of rosary to Mother Mary on her Birthday. Kindly register at the book stall or with the Legionaries available at the side exit and acknowledge your participation in this Chain of Rosary.
7. The Senior Citizens of our Parish are invited to attend a special Eucharistic Celebration at the Basilica of Mount Mary, Bandra at 10.30 am on Monday 14th September 2026. A bus has been organized from our Church at 8.00 am sharp to the Basilica of Mount Mary and back. Charges: Rs.200 per person. Senior Citizens are requested to register with the members of the Senior Citizens Association. Last date for registration is 6th September 2026.
8. Pre-Baptism Catechesis for couples who are expecting their first child is on Saturday 12th September from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm. in the conference room, kindly register your names in the parish office by 7th September 2026.
9. There will be a half-hour Eucharistic adoration on Friday 4th September from 6.30 pm conducted by the Family Cell.
10. Parish Pastoral Council meeting on Sunday 6th September from 10.45 am in the Conference room.
11. Youth meeting on Sunday 13th September at 10.30 am in the Conference room.
12. Marriage preparation course in Tamil for 2026-27 is posted on the notice board.
