NINETEENTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR

1. 11th August the memorial of St. Clare.

14th August the memorial of St Maximilian Kolbe.

2. 15th August, the feast of the assumption of our Blessed mother and Our Independence Day. It’s a day of obligation. The Masses are at 7.00 am in Tamil and 8.30 am in English. No evening Mass.

3. The Flag hoisting ceremony in our School will begin at 7.45 am. All are invited to participate in the ceremony.

4. Sunday, 17th August, will be celebrated as Prison Ministry Day. The envelopes towards contribution for the Prison Ministry apostolate are kept in the Sacristy. Unit Coordinators are requested to collect and distribute them to families.

5. The parish bulletin We Connect For the month of July- August are kept in the Sacristy, Unit Coordinators are requested to collect and distribute them to the families. Thank you for your kindness

6. We fathers and brother wish to thank the Parish Pastoral Council for celebrating St. John Vianney day and for the lovely lunch with games and fellowship. Also, we thank Goregaon East Indian Association and our parishioners for your love, wishes, prayers and blessings. We are extremely happy for your generosity. May God bless each and every member of our parish.

7. There will be an SVP collection today kindly be generous.

8. The Bombay Catholic Sabha has planned a Medical Camp for Blood Sugar and Bone Mineral Density measurement on Sunday, 17th August 2025 from 8.00am to 12.00 noon in the school basement. Kindly make use of this facility.

9. Community welfare fund for the month of July amounted to Rs. 74,550/-. Rs. 1,40,900/- is given for medical aid. Gentle reminder to contribute for Community welfare fund the envelopes are placed above the boxes.

10. Discipleship program conducted by CCR will be starting from 14th September in the school basement for details, contact Anagha D’Souza - 9819628200.
