Parish World Marriage Day Celebrations
Our Parish Family Cell organized a memorable World Marriage day celebration on 11th February 2018 with a meaningful Eucharist incorporating the renewal of marriage vows and an inspiring homily by Fr. Mario Mendes, our Spiritual Advisor and culminating in a fellowship programme in the school quadrangle after the Mass.
Over 60 parishioners, most of them couples, both young and old had a heartwarming experience sharing with each other the joy of their marriage and the sanctity of their sacramental union as husband and wife. Fr. Mario who was present throughout the celebration engaged the couples in an enriching couple learning exercise which helped them understand the need for deepening and strengthening the marriage relationship.
The family cell planned the evening well with some very innovative and exciting games and spot prizes. As the fun-filled evening came to an end, the participants carried with them, besides the packed dinner, memories of a lovely evening and a prayer of thanksgiving to God for the gift of their marriage and their spouse. Kudos to the Family cell members for organizing and executing the event and to our Parish clergy team for their support.
